Swiss Steel Group appoints new members of the Executive Board

Lucerne, 20. December 2021 - Swiss Steel Holding AG today announced the appointment of three additional members to the Executive Board effective January 1, 2022. CEO Frank Koch explains: "The expansion of the Executive Board is part of the strategy and growth path Swiss Steel Group (SSG) has embarked on. We will significantly optimize our synergy potential on the way to becoming a world-leading specialty steel producer by optimizing and bundling our market and application expertise, our innovation competence and technical know-how with this strengthened cooperation between Group Management and the Business Units."

With Jürgen Alex, Florian Geiger and Patrick Lamarque d'Arrouzat, CEO Frank Koch complements his management team with CFO Markus Böning with three additional experienced steel managers with high expertise around the core products of SSG - tool steels, stainless steels and engineering steels.

Jürgen Alex (Dipl.-Ing., DE, 1966) has held various management positions at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke since 2006. He has been CEO of SSG's largest Business Unit since January 2019.

Florian Geiger (Dr. rer. pol., CH and DE, 1980) has held a management position at SSG since 2013 and has been CEO of the Steeltec Business Unit with production units in Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavia and Turkey since January 2020.

Patrick Lamarque d'Arrouzat (MBA, FR, 1965) has held various management positions at Ugitech in France since 2003. Since September 2009, he has been CEO of the Ugitech Business Unit with several sites in France, Germany and Italy.
